Natural Baby Photography
Welcome to the new natural baby photography website by Amy! I am a friendly and professionally trained photographer, specialising in newborn photography at my comfortable and fully equipped studio in Crystal Palace. Most of my clients are from Crystal Palace, Dulwich, Clapham, Forest Hill, Herne Hill, Bromley, Beckenham, Chiswick, Chelsea, Battersea and other surrounding areas.
Firstly, some advice! although beautiful photos of newborns can be taken at any times, if you want the ‘curled up shots’, especially bundled in a beautiful wrap or prop, you need to book your shoot so it happens the first week after the baby is born. So it is important to contact me as soon as you know your due date. to ensure we get the perfect date for your newborn shoot!
Once you have decided what package you want (set package or bespoke- see at bottom of page) a 10% deposit is required to secure your booking window. Don’t worry if your newborn comes early or late- I limit the number of shoots I do so I can always fit you on the perfect day!
Secondly, I provide cheaper prices for the same standard of professional boutique product. I understand that newborn photos are a luxury for some, so I will do everything I can to find the right package for you that is affordable, but also providing you the gorgeous images of your baby that will be timeless and beautiful. Everyone deserves to have precious memories of their unique and incredible newborn. Check out my packages below and I also provide bespoke quotes for specific requests.

My Style
My usual style of photography is what I call ‘baby focused’- an organic and natural style without many props, that just shows the extraordinary and delicate look of a newborn baby, without too much ‘clutter’ distracting from the gorgeous details of your precious bundle. I use simple wraps, beautiful organic fabrics and materials such as cashmere and merino. however I am flexible to your tastes and requirements and will include any meaningful or special props that you would like included. additionally any ideas or photos that you would like replicated, please bring them with you and we can make them happen! What Age and When to Book?
Although the majority of photoshoots are newborn photoshoots, I can accommodate older babies certain occasions. Whilst the majority of my studio shoots are photographs of newborns, I can accommodate babies of all ages up to 8 months, However as I specialise in newborn photography, I find that the most particularly emotional and moving images are from those first few days, when they have a magical aura to them that can be captured by Natural Baby Photography by Amy. As mentioned, newborn shoots get booked up quickly, so the ideal thing to do is to contact me and have a lovely chat, and let me know your due date so I can book the correct window in my calendar. if you have an older baby however, depending on the age, I can still provide stunning photos of the new member of your family. About Me
My name is Amy; I was born and grew up in West Dulwich, and now live in Crystal Palace, South London, where I have my home studio. I have a daughter who is 6, and I love being a mum! I have trained at the British Academy of Photography where I received a distinction, and I have also completed two specialised training courses in newborn photography, for which I have certificates for. I have a recent enhanced DBS check which you are welcome to view, I had my first newborn photography business, featured in Vogue and harpers’s bazaar before COVID, until the lockdown was put in place. I have now managed to set up again under a new brand name, emphasising my natural, newborn baby centred photographic style, and with a brand new high tech studio filled with beautiful backdrops, wraps and more.
The Photoshoot & how it works
The shoot is designed to be as comfortable as possible for the newborn baby, the new parents and any other family members. I don’t put a time limit or charge by the hour so the pressure is well and truly off! We will take as long as we need for the newborn photoshoot. I am trained in this field so safety is the utmost priority; I am a mother and I know how nerve-wracking it can be. But we will take our time, take breaks when needed, and you are guaranteed the most beautiful, cute and precious set of photos. My studio is extremely well equipped with the latest equipment and beautiful materials and props, as well as a changing table, nappies and anything else you and your baby might need. I provide snacks and drinks; if you are bringing other siblings let me know if there are any allergy issues. There is also a play area and sitting room for other members of the family.

Prices and packages
Unlike many newborn photographers I don’t charge by the hour- I will take as long as it needs to to get the perfect shots, without rushing. I provide different packages, but I can also provide bespoke tailor made packages for you and your budget, for example if you want to include siblings, or other family members. Package 1– newborn: Welcome pack, private gallery with 50 edited photos of your newborn, all post production and colour corrections on the full set of images, all digital files from your shoot available to view and download from an online shoot proof password protected gallery, post shoot gift bag £255
Package 2-Newborn: Private gallery with 80 edited photos of your newborn, all post production and colour corrections on the full set of images, all digital files from your shoot available to view and download from an online shoot proof password protected gallery, 5 5 X 7 prints of your choice, and a gift bag including a personalised gift for your baby £360
Package 3– Newborn: Private gallery with 100 edited photos of your newborn, all post production and colour corrections on the full set of images, all digital files from your shoot available to view and download from an online shoot proof password protected gallery, 7 5 X 7 prints of your choice, and a gift bag personalised for your baby, and videography set to music of your choice of the shoot and including images of the baby £480
Bespoke Packages- Various: These are based on the basic package sets but can be adapted with aspects changed, for example adding sibling photos, removing the videography option, etc. These bespoke packages will require a quote from me, so call me up to let me know what your ideal package is!
